Thai 'spy' to be ordained as Buddhist monk Sunday

Sivarak sentenced to 7 years jail on 8th December and pardoned by King Norodom Sihamoni and released on 14th December.

Sivarak Chutipong will enter the monkhook at a temple in Nakhon Ratchasima on Sunday.

The Thai engineer, who was convicted by a Cambodian court for spying on former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra's flight details, will be ordained at the Wat Pa Sattharam in Tambon Hua Thalae in Muang district, his relatives said.
